You Can't Roller Skate in a Buffalo Herd

Most of you have probably not heard this line from the silly old Roger Miller song.  I heard it today while I was sitting on the porch  not working.  After all, it's exactly the type of Southern charm they try to instill at the Cracker Barrel.  My first thoughts when I heard this were of driving around the Smokies with my dad and ol 'Roger  was always a part of our soundtrack, but then I thought about the end of the verse "you can't roller skate in a buffalo herd but you can be happy if you've a mind to/All you gotta do is put your mind to it, then knuckle down buckle down and do it, do it do it"  Whether you call it faking it til you make it or simply having a positive attitude you can be happy if you've a mind to.  Even if you can't go fishing in a watermelon patch.
