I believe you have control over your own destiny, or rather have multiple destinies depending on the choices you make. Christians call it free will, although the idea is much older than that. The point is, once you become aware of the power your thoughts and actions have over your experience you can shape that experience into the best possible path for yourself. Suddenly doors begin to open, people enter your life that help you get one step closer to your destiny. The trick is maintaining that intent and recognizing those opportunities as they come along. That's where faith comes into play. I have faith that if I keep working towards it with good intent I will both find a good "day job" and eventually work as a professional screenwriter and producer. Be aware of your thoughts, intents, and actions. Are they moving you towards your destiny?
